Honest Wedding Advice

Hey there,

I wanted to share three honest pieces of wedding advice with you.

So, here goes…

1. Please use long tablecloths

Truth bomb.

Venues often use short tablecloths because they’re cheaper and easier to manage. But they don’t look good. No one wants to see table legs, your grandma’s Lidl bag with her slippers in, or the cheap bottle of wine your mates snuck in. Go for full-length tablecloths to the floor. It makes a huge difference to the look and feel of your wedding! Long looks luxurious!

2. Practise your vows and speeches

Why? Because people remember them.

Whether they’re brilliant, awkward, or don’t happen at all. Your guests will talk about the speeches, so give yourself the confidence of being prepared and then if you do go a little off pieste at least you can reflect knowing you practiced and tried your best.

3. Get your engagement ring cleaned

Have your engagement ring professionally cleaned before the wedding so it looks its best.

The night before, move your engagement ring onto your right hand. After the ceremony, once your partner has placed your wedding ring on your left hand, you can move your engagement ring back to your left hand to sit alongside your wedding ring.

With love and support,

Yasmin
